Through Bravely’s partnership with Every Mother’s Advocate (ĒMA), you can walk alongside moms in crisis—helping them find hope, stability, and a path forward.

The Every Mother’s Advocate (ĒMA) program is a court-approved, prevention-focused program designed to support moms in crisis and help preserve families.
As an EMA Advocate, you will:
This program is personalized, relational, and outcome-focused, giving you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact, build trust, and help another woman move from crisis to stability.
Bravely Women’s Health is a certified Every Mother’s Advocate (ĒMA) partner, and we provide everything you need to confidently walk alongside moms in crisis.
The program works because:
Our advocates are everyday people—students, moms, church members—who simply said yes to being present, listening, and helping another woman achieve a life-changing outcome.

“My client advocate had been the greatest help to me through this difficult time, and I’m so happy I chose to do ĒMA.”
“Before ĒMA, life felt like one crisis after another. I was overwhelmed trying to hold everything together for my kids. Through ĒMA, I finally finished something and that graduation meant the world to me. When we lost our daughter, the love and support from my advocate, Bravely, and our church carried us through. I’ll never forget how they showed up for us.”
“When I first came to Bravely, I didn’t even know if I wanted to keep my baby. I’d lost so much, including my first little boy, and I was just trying to survive. My advocate and the team at Bravely saw me through every step and they reminded me that joy was still possible. Now, my baby is here, we have a home, a church, and a fresh start as a family. I’m so thankful for how Bravely walked beside me.”
ĒMA is a court approved, prevention program designed to advocate for moms in crisis to preserve their families. We pair moms at-risk of losing their children into foster care with an ĒMA Advocate who builds meaningful relationship and provides holistic support, ensuring every mother has an opportunity to thrive. This outcome-based program empowers families to achieve stability and stay together.
Advocates are trained volunteers with a passion to see families preserved through mother advocacy. The ĒMA Advocate builds meaningful relationship with one mom, works together towards her goals, is a voice box for her progress and needs in the community, and helps her stay connected to support. When a mom has an ĒMA Advocate, she receives holistic care that solely stems from a place of relationship.
ĒMA Advocates are paired with a mother from the very beginning of her journey through the program. ĒMA Advocates are trained and equipped to provide the social, emotional and tangible support vulnerable moms need to move from crisis to stability.
Moms in crisis who are experiencing poverty, at-risk of family separation, or with children in foster care and working towards reunification.
ĒMA Advocates are paired to one mom in the ĒMA Program. The time commitment varies, but typically an Advocate will invest 2 hours per week over the course of 10 advocacy sessions. All sessions can be done virtually or in-person. In that time, they work closely with your ĒMA Program Coordinator to ensure the mom is receiving her needed services.
Each week, ĒMA Advocates schedule a time with their assigned mom to meet virtually or in person. During that hour, an ĒMA Advocate will review her action plan, set weekly tasks, and discuss any current needs. The Advocate then uses an evidence-based curriculum and works through a structured lesson provided by ĒMA. The goal of the hour-long session is to build relationship, provide education, and support the mom towards achieving the goals on her action plan.
By becoming an advocate, you don’t just help one mom—you strengthen families, support communities, and create lasting impact.
